We’ve heard our community loud and clear.

We’re excited to announce that the ICBM Migration Tool is now ready to use for our investors who wish to transfer their locked ETH commitment to the wallet associated with their Neufund account. Below you’ll find a helpful, 8-step guide to completing the process and ensuring that your commitment is properly transferred.

Since we opened up the platform’s registration and verification process back in May, a number of our investors reached out asking to transfer their ETH commitment from the wallet they used during the ICBM to the one that they intend to use moving forward to invest in ETOs. We worked hard over the past several months to ensure that the tool would be ready to use prior to the start of the first ETO. As the first ETO will begin soon, we are now releasing this tool so that our investors can complete the migration process ahead of time.

It’s important to note that the Migration Tool is only meant to transfer your ETH commitment and not your NEU reward. You may freely transfer your NEU at any time.

Before you begin, please make sure to read the important disclaimer directly below.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER - PLEASE READ!

This guide is for informational purposes only and intended solely for use by Neufund investors who participated in the Initial Capital Building Mechanism (ICBM) that ended in December 2017. It offers a walkthrough for completing the ICBM migration process on the platform. This process is designed to allow investors to migrate their ICBM commitment (ETH) from the wallet that they used during the ICBM to their verified wallet that they intend to use moving forward to invest in Equity Token Offerings (ETOs). This guide has been prepared in an effort to ensure that anyone who wishes to conduct this migration and follows the steps below exactly as outlined is able to properly transfer funds. However, please note that this is merely a guide, and you are solely responsible for the safe-keeping of your information and the effective transfer of funds. While Neufund is committed to supporting its users, we do not store or retrieve users’ private wallet information.

Step 1: Getting started

Login at platform.neufund.org.

Note: You should login with your verified wallet that you intend to use to invest in ETOs. In order to begin the migration process, you must have successfully completed the Identity Verification Process.

From the Dashboard, you’ll see a ‘Welcome to Neufund!’ message displayed in the top left of your screen. Below the welcome message, you’ll see text that says ‘Can’t see your ICBM Wallet?’ Click ‘check your balance here’ to begin.

Step 2: Navigate to the ICBM Wallet Migration widget

After you’ve clicked the link, you’ll automatically be redirected to your Profile. Here, you’ll see a widget called ‘ICBM Migration Tool’ to the right of your account information. Navigate to this widget and click into the text box.

Step 3: Enter the public address of your ICBM wallet

In the text box, enter the public address of your ICBM wallet. The text box will be outlined in green to indicate that a verified wallet address has been entered. Once you’ve filled in your wallet address, click the ‘Check Balance’ button below the text box.

Step 4: Review your balances and generate the transaction details

After you click the button, a pop-up will appear on your screen displaying your:

  1. ICBM wallet address
  2. Amount of NEU issued to you during the ICBM
  3. Amount of ETH you committed during the ICBM

These details are pulled directly from the smart contract governing the ICBM.

To continue, click the ‘Begin Migration Process’ button at the bottom of the window.

Step 5: Access your ICBM wallet in a separate tab and conduct the first transaction

A new window will appear on your screen with pre-generated transaction data you will need to initiate the migration process. Note: you will be conducting two separate transactions during this process. In the first transaction, data is sent to the smart contract governing the ICBM to let it know that you are changing your wallet address. The second transaction is then used to migrate your commitment.

IMPORTANT: Do not close out of the Migration Tool during the migration process.

For all other users (e.g., Trezor, imToken):

Using your ICBM wallet interface, you will need to manually enter the transaction details displayed on screen.

Access your ICBM wallet in a separate tab or window and look for the Send/Receive function on your wallet. Copy and paste the data from the Migration Tool into the appropriate fields of your ICBM wallet interface. Please ensure that you enter ‘0’ as the amount to be sent. Check that the information you’ve entered is correct. When you are ready, you may execute the transaction.

After you’ve executed the transaction, return to the Migration Tool. Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will see a message at the bottom of your screen indicating that the transaction was successful. This may take a few moments, so please be patient.

Step 6: Confirm that the transaction was successful and click ‘Next Step’ to continue

After you’ve returned to the platform, you will see a message at the bottom of your screen confirming that the transaction was successful. This may take a few moments, so please be patient. When you see this message, click ‘Next Step’ to continue.

Step 7: Return to your ICBM wallet in a separate tab and conduct the second transaction

In the same window, you’ll now see instructions to complete ‘Step 2’ and a new set of transaction data will be displayed on screen. You will need to perform this last step in order to complete the migration process.

IMPORTANT: Do not close out of the Migration Tool during the migration process.

For MyEtherWallet users:

We have again prepared a pre-loaded transaction so you don’t need to enter the data you see on the screen.

Click the link that says ‘Open pre-loaded transaction in MyEtherWallet’ and you will be redirected to the MyEtherWallet website in a separate tab. Access your ICBM wallet, and check that the pre-filled information is correct. When you are ready, you may execute the transaction.

After you’ve executed the transaction, return to the Migration Tool. Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will see a message at the bottom of your screen indicating that the transaction was successful. This may take a few moments, so please be patient.

For all other users (e.g., Trezor, imToken):

Using your ICBM wallet interface, you will again need to manually enter the transaction details displayed on screen.

Access your ICBM wallet interface in a separate tab or window and look for the Send/Receive function on your wallet. Copy and paste the data from the Migration Tool into the appropriate fields of your ICBM wallet interface. Please ensure the you enter ‘0’ as the amount to be sent.

Step 8: Confirm that the transaction was successful. Congratulations! You’re done!

After you’ve returned to the Migration Tool, you’ll see a message at the bottom of your screen confirming that the transaction was successful. This may take a few moments, so please be patient.

When you see this message, the migration process is complete. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the migration process and your ICBM commitment has now been transferred to your verified wallet.
